Three more houses were raided in Nakasi this morning.

Police Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says marijuana was discovered at one of the houses in Nakasi, however no drugs were discovered at the other two houses.

Police are yet to confirm on whether any one has been taken into custody.

Several raids have been conducted on those alleged to be involved in the trade and use of drugs.

Two other houses were raided in Nakasi last week- where police arrested two men in separate raids.

A man believed to be in his 50s, was arrested from his home as police discovered clear plastic bags containing white crystal powder believed to be methamphetamine.

In another incident the home of a man believed to be in his 30s at Vishnu Deo Road in Nakasi was also raided.

Police discovered a small plastic containing white crystals believed to be methamphetamine and cash.

Police is calling on the public to call Crime Stoppers on 919 if they have any information on those involved in the illicit drug trade.
