Prime Minister and FijiFirst leader Voreqe Bainimarama has announced plans to upgrade facilities for youths in Raiwai and Raiwaqa.
In a pocket meeting at Raiwaqa last night, Bainimarama stated about two hundred and seventy thousand dollars has been given to the RFMF Engineers for a new Raiwai Youth Hall.
The Hall would consist of a basketball, volleyball and netball court.
As well, four hundred thousand dollars has been set aside for a youth complex in Raiwai.
Bainimarama also announced that the Asian Development Bank would soon lift it’s ban on lending to the Fijian government.
He says this would open up doors for more development to be carried out around the country.
