More financial literacy made available for the Pacific

In a bid to further drive a savings culture in communities across the Pacific, ANZ today announced a partnership with Live & Learn.

ANZ Regional Executive Pacific, Tessa Price says this has been done through ANZ flagship financial literacy program, MoneyMinded.

Price says the partnership involves the accreditation of Live & Learn trainers to deliver, the MindMinded programmes to Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Tonga, Kiribati and Fiji.

Live & Learn Executive Director, Christian Nielsen, highlighted the importance of economic empowerment of women in the Pacific.

MoneyMinded has been delivered to over 10,000 people across the Pacific since it was launched in the region in 2010.

Live & Learn is a non-government organisation that works with communities throughout Asia and the Pacific to design, implement and learn from community-based development projects.
