“When we say individuals, these are employees in the private, public sector, retirees, farmers, domestic workers and students investing in the stock market.”

Prasad says May has seen the most activity on the Stock Market as five companies recorded an all-time high.

The five companies are Amalgamated Telecom Holdings (ATH), Paradise Beverages Ltd, RB Patel group, Toyota TSUSCHO Ltd and the Fijian Holdings Ltd.

He adds through the Exchange’s Investor Education programme, students in Year 11 and 12 will be given an awareness session on the stock market.
