More E-transport top-up machines are expected to be installed at bus stations around the country.
Currently five machines have been installed at bus stations in Suva, Nausori and Nadi.
Vodafone’s Regional Chief Executive Officer Pradeep Lal says their team is working around the clock to ensure the installation, commissioning, training, and roll-out of the E-transport Top-up Machines.
Lal says next bus stations to have the machines installed and activated are Lautoka, Ba and Sigatoka followed by Labasa.
He adds that the machines are an additional top-up channel apart from the 1,200 top-up agents around the country and card top-up option available through M-PAISA.
A toll-free customer care line 151 has also been made available to assist commuters.
Lal says they have received positive response from the bus commuters as it is convenient to top-up at the bus stations before they board the buses.
He adds there have been few incidences which caused minor disruptions to the service however this has been fixed.
