Removing stigmatisation against HIV Positive individuals were two of the issues discussed at a regional workshop on HIV AIDs at the Pearl Resort in Pacific Harbour yesterday.

Senior HIV Medical Officer Dr Rachael Devi says creating awareness for this global killer needs to be strengthened.

“Although Fiji is going down on stigma discrimination in villages and communities, it is evident that continuous education needs to be done so that HIV patients women, men and children can live a normal live in the country.”

Fiji has recorded the highest number of HIV positive caseslast year.
