MOG to discuss issues with Elections Supervisor

The Multinational observer group says they will be discussing a few issues with the Supervisor of elections today, after day one of the pre-polling.

MOG co-ordinator Andrew Goledzinowski, says they can’t reveal any details of what they’ve observed – but they are constantly liaising with the Fijian Elections office.

We are happy and satisfied with the access that we’ve had, and with the way in which we as an observer group, have been dealt with that’s been appropriate and we’ve had no difficulties in that regard, but i won’t at this stage be telling you whether we are happy with the actual process that’s something which we are still considering.

There are sixty five observers in the country already, from which twenty nine have been accredited.

More observers are on the way.
