The Multinational Observer Group has concluded its formal on-the-ground observation with the declaration of the ballot for the 2014 Fijian Election.

In a press statement the MOG says they will remain available to receive submissions from organisations and individual stakeholders in the election process until the publication of the final report, which will be issued to the Fijian Government and the Fijian Elections Office.

MOG coordinator Andrew Golednolski says there are currently seeking statistical information from a range of government and independent organisations, such the Fijian Elections Office, the Electoral Commission, the Media Industry Development Authority, the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption and the Fiji Police Force.
