MOG announces co-chairs

The Multinational Observer Group’s (MOG) and the three co-lead countries namely Australia, India and Indonesia, have today announced their respective co-chairs.

Jane Prentice a Member of Parliament from Australia, Mukesh Chandra Sahu from India and Wajid Fauzi from Indonesia are in the MOG.

Prentice is a member of the House of Representatives in the Parliament of Australia and an experienced former Minister.

Sahu is the Chief Electoral Officer of the State of Assam in India while Fauzi is the Special Advisor on Management Affairs to Indonesia’s Foreign Minister.

The co-chairs are responsible for the overall management and coordination of the MOG and are independent of their respective governments during the terms of their deployments.

The co-chairs will also be responsible for delivering the MOG’s interim media statement that follows the election.
