Modi commends developments in Fiji

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has commended developments in Fiji.

Addressing the House of Representatives this afternoon, Modi says India and Fiji share many commonalities – one of which is a Constitution that empowers the people.

He has also committed to building stronger relations in the field of science, education and culture.

The Prime Minister of India added that Fiji is an example of a small nation that can successfully pursue great ambitions because of its vision and values.
Modi will be speaking at the Fiji National University Nasinu campus this afternoon.
