Elections Supervisor, Mohammed Saneem, says they are still testing the mobile app that will help disseminate results in next year’s election.
Saneem says they will try to test it with the public next year.
He says the app will be tested out by some overseas experts as well.
Saneem says they want the app to have the highest level of security.
“We will try and ensure that once we release a better version for the members of the public it is a rugged app that can withstand any attempted tempering and then deliver results to you and your palm.”
During the counting period after the elections the results will be announced to the public using this app.
The app will update itself every fifteen minutes and the people will get the election results on their phones.
