The body of a 48-year-old man was found in Ba on Tuesday afternoon.

A 27-year-old fisherman and a 32-year-old woman found the body at Bilolo Tramline Bridge Creek, Varavu.

The two stumbled across the body while they were returning from a fishing trip.

The deceased was earlier reported missing by his 45-year-old wife.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro says they are investigating in the matter.
