Sixteen-year-old Alberta Grace Tavui has been found and has returned home.

Tavui was last seen leaving her grandparents’ home in Kinoya last Friday heading to school.

When she failed to return her parents residing in Ba were informed and searches were conducted at all likely places up until Monday.

Tavui was found a few days later staying with a friend nearby in Kinoya.

Police are going to request once again for members of the public to understand the stress and worry one can cause when they don’t communicate their whereabouts or plans to their loved ones.
