Ministry of Women to work with USP

The Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation will work closely with the University of the South Pacific.

The Ministry will provide framework to a number of activities including research projects, joint academic and scientific projects, exchange of academic and management staff.

Permanent Secretary, Dr. Josefa Koroivueta says there is no better platform than having the expertise of the University in areas of research.

Koroivueta says the cooperation will make a difference to the social landscape present in the country.

He says the university will make a historical contribution to this particular area.

They signed an MOU yesterday at the University of the South Pacific, Laucala Bay Campus.
