Youth and Sports Minister, Laisenia Tuitubou, has urged students of Tailevu North Secondary school to promote healthy living and lifestyles.

The Minister made these comments while handing over $5000 worth of gym equipment to the School.

Tuitubou says Fiji has an unacceptably high rate of non-communicable diseases.

He says if people make changes to their lifestyle and do regular exercise – they will have more years of precious time with their loved ones.

He further encouraged the students to adhere to safe practices while using the gym equipment.
