CCTV surveillance cameras will soon be installed at the Nausori market.

This comes after the Nausori town council was given a directive by Local Government Minister Parveen Kumar to strengthen the security at the market following a recent robbery.

Kumar says the CCTV cameras are expected to be installed within a month or two.
The market is also expected to increase its security officers from two to four as the market is very big.

Kumar says he has also been informed that Police are conducting an investigation to arrest those involved in the market robbery.

He says this is the second time the market has been robbed.
