Minister for Defence and National Security Ratu Inoke Kubuabola during Melanesian Spearhead Group Police Ministers meeting visited Bita Paka War Cemetery in Papua New Guinea.

Kubuabola paid respect to the 35 Fijian Soldiers who are buried at the cemetery.

He also visited Tung Naparau where 4 Fijian Missionaries were martyred.

Discussion also took place about Regional Policing and Cooperation and the upcoming Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Meeting (APEC) to be held at by the end of the year.
