Rehabilitation works at the Caboni Multi Species Hatchery Station in Ra is still continuing after it was severely damaged during TC Winston in 2016.

Minister for Fisheries, Semi Koroilavesau visited the station yesterday and was impressed with the current progress.

Concrete tanks have been constructed and production will soon begin for freshwater and brackish water species.

The ministry is grateful for the external assistance that has been provided from development partners.
