Mills performing well

September 18, 2012 5:10 am

A little over 900,000 tonnes of cane has been crushed by the four sugar mills producing 96,000 tonnes of raw sugar.

FSC Executive Chair Abdul Khan says they are expecting to harvest another 900,000 tonnes of cane sugar by the end of the season.

So far the mills have been performing well and FSC is confident that come the season end there will be no more stand over cane in our field.
