Methodist Church to demarcate property

The Methodist Church is working on demarcating all its land in Fiji.

Church Assistant General Secretary Rev Tevita Nawadra says all church land need to be surveyed and registered.

Rev Nawadra says majority of the land which were handed to the church by elders hasn’t been officially registered.

He says assurances have been given by landowners that they’ll honour what their elders have done and will not take back the land.

He says work’s are also underway to better utilise the land, the Navuso development programme is a prime example.

The church is looking at ways to better develop the land as this can be the answer to the finacial hardship it currently faces.
