Methodist Church conference meeting to tackle major issues

The Methodist Church of Fiji will discuss avenues on how they can enlighten members to become productive and responsible Christians during its week long conference meeting.

Acting General Secretary Reverend Jeremaia Waqainabete says this is a major issue identified by the Church.

Waqainabete says the meeting this year will not only focus on the welfare of church ministers or clergies but how best they can deliver services to its members.

“The thought that is really confronting the church at this point in time is how best we can enlighten our people to become responsible and productive Christians.”

The meeting agenda includes the church welfare, amendments to the church constitution and encouraging a collaborative approach towards the development of the church.
