Methodist Church applies for conference permit

The Methodist Church has applied for a permit on the conducting of its Annual General Meeting next week.

The Annual Conference will be conducted in August will be based from issues brought up from their AGM.

Methodist Church assistant secretary Reverand Tevita Nawadra says they remain hopeful their application will be approved.

“We have requested the Police Commissioner to allow us to meet in our Annual Conference for this year 2012. We have requested to have five days of conference and two Sundays for our church functions.”

Reverend Nawadra says the church has also promised to send its agenda on the AGM to the Force.
