Fijians taking loans from Merchant Finance will now be able to pay installments through M-Paisa.

This is after Merchant Finance Limited and Vodafone Fiji yesterday launched the M-Paisa payment platform.

Deputy Chair of Merchant Finance Nouzab Fareed says through the platform customers will be able to pay their loans on time.

“We want to go to the next level and that’s why we want to work with Vodafone in launching this agreement whereby any of our customers if they want to make a loan installment, they do not need to do anything and just from their phone transfer money from their m-paisa account to merchant finance.”

Fareed says the charges for making installments through M-Paisa will be paid by Merchant Finance.
