Alosio Vulai’s wife, Nani Vulai says it’s been hard for their children to accept that their father is no more. They have five children.

She says they keep on hoping that he would turn up.

Vulai and his cousin Ratucoko had left to catch some fish for Easter.

They were travelling in a 15 horsepower fiberglass boat and failed to return home in the evening.

The search and rescue operation had to be called off several times due to the unfavorable weather.

On Saturday, police informed the two families that they have called off the search.
