A Mechanic of Kavanagasau in Sigatoka pleaded guilty to one count of drunk driving before Magistrate Jeremaia Savou this morning.

Ratnesh Prasad on the 23rd of April this year, was driving along Sigatoka Town in a dangerous manner.

The court heard that in 100 milliliters of his blood there was a concentration of 121 milligrams of alcohol – in excess of the prescribed limit.

Prasad was ordered to pay a fine of $300 in default thirty days imprisonment.

He’s also been disqualified from driving for three months.
