‘’The main focus now is to extract all the ideas and suggestions and from this particular summit and turn that into a strategic plan that you can then implement. So you will remember Amena Yauvoli – PIDF Interim SG put up a slide which showed what we have done and all we have to do to take the organisation to the next level’’.

Based in Samoa, Martel has also been one the leading drafters of the PIDF’s charter which is the framework of the organization.

Martel officially starts work on the 19th of October taking over from the interim SG Amena Yauvoli.
