It is surprising to see marijuana being found in the Lau group.

“It’s something that is new, that is like the trend that is coming up which is really a surprise, which is a concern, that is why we raise to the church elders if they can look into that too.”

Tudravu says they will continue to re-visit areas such as Namosi, Cakaudrove and Kadavu to see that people are not planting marijuana.

He says that they cannot fight crimes alone and therefore need the help of the church, beginning with the Methodist Church.

Tudravu adds that the Methodist Church is well structured and if awareness is done in those structure, there could be success in fighting crimes.
