Imports and exports for the month of March increased respectively according to provisional data released by the Fiji Bureau of Statistics.

Imports increased by two million dollars for a total value of three hundred and forty-five million dollars.

Exports increased by two point seven million dollars for a total value of one hundred and forty-eight million dollars.

The March 2015 trade deficit amounted to one hundred and ninety seven million dollars.

There were notable increases in vehicles, aircraft and associated equipment and prepared foodstuffs, beverages, spirits and tobacco categories.
