A thirty-two-year-old driver of Saweni in Lautoka who was found in possession of illicit drugs has been ordered to do twenty hours of community work.

The drugs found was marijuana and weighed 2.5grams.

The court heard on the 14th of November 2017, Sachindra Mani travelled to Kadavu to deliver some goods.

While in Kadavu, Mani was approached and questioned by police if he had drugs after being tipped by a member of the public.

The court says that since the amount of drugs was little, Mani has been given a chance to reform.
