A man in his early 30’s who has been convicted of raping his cousin will be sentenced by the Lautoka High Court today.

The incident happened on August 9th, 2014.

It was revealed in court that the assailant had taken the 19-year-old victim to Wailoaloa beach and raped her.

The three assessors found the man guilty of one count of rape with Judge Justice Aruna Aluthge concurring with their opinions.
