The 40 year old man who allegedly injured his wife with a cane knife has been charged with one count of act with intent to cause grievous harm.

He is expected to appear in the Sigatoka Magistrates Court today.

Meanwhile, his 40 year old wife who was admitted at the Sigatoka Hospital has been discharged as is now recovering at home.
