A 22-year-old man has been sentenced to three years imprisonment after pleading guilty to one count of aggravated robbery.
Penijamini Talemaitoga committed street mugging with an accomplice in June.
The Court heard Talemaitoga approached the victim who was walking on his way to work along the Kinoya Road in Nasinu and punched him.
Talemaitoga’s accomplice than grabbed the victims bag and started kicking him when he fell on the footpath and as a result, the man received injuries.
Talemaitoga then ran away with the man’s bag which contained $160 cash.
