A 26-year-old Muni Nadan appeared in the Sigatoka Magistrates Court this afternoon charged with the alleged murder of a 48-year-old Carpenter who was found dead outside his Olosara home in Sigatoka on Wednesday night.

Nandan has been charged with one count of murder and the case has been transferred to the Sigatoka High Court.

He has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in the High Court on the 10th of July.

The deceased was found lying on the side of the road by his son who was returning home after a game of soccer, he was rushed to hospital but pronounced dead on arrival.
