Man pleads guilty to burglary and theft

A man charged with burglary and theft has pleaded guilty to the alleged offense in a special court sitting today.

The Magistrates Court in Suva heard that on 4th December in 2015, the accused Taione Waqabilibili broke into Yanjian Group Fiji Limited at Albert Park.

He stole four laptops, a Samsung phone and cash all amounting to $7,970.

Magistrate Jioji Boseiwaqa rejected bail because only partial items have been recovered by police.

The accused has been remanded in custody and will reappear on the January 8 for sentencing.
