A man has been sentenced to two years five months imprisonment by the Suva High Court this morning.

He was convicted of one count of arson.

It was established in Court that on July 2nd last year, he set his neighbour’s house on fire in Wainibuku, Nasinu.

Judge Justice Thushara Rajasinghe in sentencing the man issued a permanent domestic violence restraining order against him.

He has a non-parole period of seventeen months.
