Man found stabbed outside CWM hospital was a NZ national

Ashkan Farsani, a businessman from the Auckland suburb of Mount Roskill, was allegedly murdered in Fiji.

Police have today been able to identify the man who was dropped off outside Suva’s CWM hospital two days ago.

The victim who was a New Zealand national was dropped off from a silver grey Prius near the hospitals’ Accident and Emergency Ward with visible stab wounds.

Attempts by medical officers to revive him was unsuccessful.

His body was identified by his friend this morning.

The man is believed to be between 30 to 40 years old and was a businessman involved in the export of agricultural produce.

However, Police say the two male suspects who are alleged to be involved in the death of the man continue to be questioned.

The suspects are believed to have been inside the car that dropped the victim at the hospital.

The car was found abandoned in Tacirua.

Investigation continues.
