Man falls from apartment building

26-year-old Josateki Narube of Caubati in Nasinu who fell from a Suva apartment last Saturday died in hospital on Tuesday.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro says reports surrounding the death of the deceased are unclear at this stage.
In response to questions from FBC News, the New Zealand High Commission says their government voluntarily provided an immunity waiver to allow their employee to provide a statement to Fiji Police to assist its investigation.
The High Commission says the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the diplomatic office in Suva are liaising with Fijian authorities regarding the incident.
It adds that for privacy reasons the New Zealand Government is unable to name the employee or provide any further details.
The NZ High Commission has extended its sympathy to the grieving family of the deceased.
The police investigation continues.
