The 29-year-old man who was hit by a white vehicle late last month has passed away at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Suva.
The accident occurred on the 30th of January at around 8pm.
It is alleged that the victim was riding his bicycle along Wainibokasi Road when a white vehicle hit him.
He was rushed to the Nausori Hospital, later transferred to CWM Hospital due to the seriousness of the injuries sustained.
The victim passed away at the CWM Hospital on Saturday morning.
Appeal goes out to the members of the public in locating the vehicle that may have been involved in the accident.
The vehicle is white in color, with damages on the left front bumper and also the left head lamp. These damages are believed to have been sustained from the impact of the accident when bumping the bicycle.
