Man dies after being hit by a vehicle while allegedly asleep on the road

A man in his 40s died after he was allegedly bumped by a vehicle driven by a 50-year-old-man.

The incident occurred after 3am this morning along the Kings Road near Nadolodolo, Tavua.

The victim was allegedly sleeping on the road when the incident occurred.

The driver remains in Police custody in Tavua as the investigation continues.
