On January 23rd this year, Nairoso along with Ledua Tikotala stole two television sets and a generator from the store.

While sentencing him, High Court Judge Justice Riyaz Hamza said Nairoso had cooperated with Police and the court during his trial hence, the reduced sentence.

Justice Hamza said the accused also showed remorse for his actions and admitted to making a mistake.

The judge added the two offences are serious and considering the accused’s age, it’s important he takes responsibility for his actions.

Nairoso has 30 days to appeal the sentence.
