A 23-year-old driver alleged to have caused the death of Praneet Goundar of Korovuto, Nadi following a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday has been charged.

The accused has been charged with one count of dangerous driving occasioning death and will be produced at the Nadi Magistrates Court today.

The victim was travelling with three others when it’s alleged the driver lost control of the vehicle resulting in the tragedy.

The incident occurred on the Waimalika Bridge after 1 am.
