Man charged for allegedly raping his wife

A man in his 30s will be produced at the Suva Magistrates Court today for allegedly raping his wife.

The alleged incident occurred on the 27th of March at the couple’s home in Vatuwaqa.

It is alleged he forcefully had sex with her without her consent.

The accused has been charged with one count of serious assault and one count of rape.
