A fifty-two-year old man of Suva is in custody for allegedly causing a loss to a travel agent.

It is alleged that on April 18th this year, the man bought fourteen airline tickets valued at more than twenty-eight thousand dollars.

The airline tickets were to be given to a group of people, travelling to Australia.

After issuing the tickets the Travel Agent found that there was no money in the accused’s bank account, when he tried to cash the cheque.

The man will appear in the Suva Magistrates Court this afternoon.
