Man appears in court for allegedly raping daughter

A 49-year-old man facing rape charges appeared in the Suva High Court yesterday.

The man who is charged with three counts of rape appeared before Judge Justice Riyaz Hamza.

He allegedly raped his 16-year-old daughter.

The alleged offense took place from August 2015 to August 2016.

The man has been remanded in custody.

The matter has been adjourned to November 2nd.
