Heavy rain battered most of the outer islands last night.

On the Mamanuca Islands, Coral View Resort manager, Laitia Nailevu says heavy rain was experienced throughout the night.

Nailevu adds the seas were rough and strong winds continue this morning.

As for the Coral Coast, there was flooding at Lepanoni Village along the coast this morning.

Villager, Seini Savou says rain continued through the night and many villagers have moved to higher grounds.
