Malnutrition and teenage pregnancies a concern in Kadavu

Malnutrition and teenage pregnancies were the two areas of concern brought up at the Kadavu Provincial meeting in Namuana today.

Our reporter, Epeli Tukuwasa is in Kadavu and files this report.

“Delegates at the meeting discussed the topics of malnutrition and teenage pregnancies. Malnutrition was found to be prevalent among children under the age of five and two have already died. On teenage pregnancies, young girls still in high school fell pregnant which was a concern for elders.”
