Malamala demands too high

February 25, 2018 1:09 am

In a bid to maintain standards, the newly opened Malamala Beach Club will limit its customers to around two hundred per day.

Group Chief Executive, Nouzab Fareed says since the opening in August, the demand has been very high and some days there are too many people on the Island.

Fareed says while they are happy with the large numbers, they also need to keep in mind the customers experience on the island.

“We want to keep our promise because Malamala is a premium product and we don’t want you to feel that you are losing that premium experience. So for example in Malamala we don’t want to put anything more than two hundred and twenty people because it can become a little crowded.”

Fareed says only on certain days like the public holidays will the Club allow three hundred people on the island.

Malamala Island features a beach, an infinity pool, restaurant, water-sports facilities, a jetty, cabanas and a bar, however, there is no over-night accommodation.

The club is located thirty minutes out of Denarau Island in Nadi.
