Police Commissioner, Brigadier General, Sitiveni Qiliho has given his warmest Diwali greetings to all Fijians.

Saying it’s important to not forget the true essence of the festival of light.

The Commissioner also reminded all Fijians to make this Diwali crime free and enjoy the firecrackers, sweets and lights.

“Diwali is a time where our Hindu brothers and sisters reflect on goodness over evil and of light of darkness.”

Qiliho has also issued a stern warning to those that may be looking to cause trouble tonight.

He adds the Police will not hesitate to take action and will come down hard on
these people.
