The Fiji Roads Authority will be closing major roads from 4:15pm to 6pm for the arrival of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex this afternoon.

The roads that will be on rolling closure are Wainibokasi Road, Kings Road from Nausori to Nabua, Ratu Mara Road, Waimanu Road, Edinburgh Drive, Rodwell Road, Scott Street and Victoria Parade.

FRA’s Chief Executive Jonathan Moore says members of the public are advised to thoroughly plan their day as there will be a series of road closures.

The Police officers will be present to assist with traffic movement and the public are urged to find alternative routes or travel ahead of time.

He adds they’re looking forward to everyone’s cooperation in assisting this prestigious event.
