One of the major projects they will concentrating on is drainage and flood management following lessons learnt from the two recent floods in the western division.

However, CDIA programme manager Dr Emeil Weglein says financing options for the major projects is also an issue.

“We seem to be looking at a package of forty two sectors combined worth FD $80m and our discussion now is s about the viability of the projects are unquestionable. How can than we best go about making sure that the finance for that can be assured".

Although the programme is still at its initial stage, the partners are positives and will bring these projects to reality and create better living for their residents.
